Ruben Plascencia is a first generation Mexican-American cinematographer based in Los Angeles, CA. Born and raised in the Bay Area, Ruben was able to find his passion for filmmaking at a young age due to all the artistic exposure around him. He pursued his education with a Bachelor’s degree in Film Production at the University of Southern California upon transferring from De Anza Community College. Currently, he works as a freelance DoP in LA and focuses on crafting visual languages for every project he is apart of.
